Simon, aka “Boggen,” is the founder of iBettors.com.

I remember one of my first wagers—a pre-tournament outright bet on the Argentina men’s football team to triumph at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, USA.

At the time, I was on a family holiday in Mallorca, long before the era of smartphones, Wi-Fi, or even the widespread adoption of the internet. I would watch highlights on TV and pick up the newspaper the next morning to keep up with tournament updates. Argentina made it all the way to the final, only to surrender a late lead and ultimately lose 3–2 to Nigeria.

Yet, despite the outcome, the thrill I felt following that bet throughout the tournament remains one of my all-time favourite betting memories. It was the spark that ignited my passion for sports betting. Ever since, it has been a constant presence in my life, both personally and professionally.

I have worked as a professional tipster on numerous occasions, both independently and with various external platforms. In addition, I have 16+ years of direct iGaming experience in Europe, working within trading functions such as Trading Analytics, Sportsbook Security, and Client Profiling. I’ve pretty much done and seen it all in the industry.

My key strengths lie in thorough research and analysis, complemented by a gut instinct that only decades of experience can provide. My passion for this field is unmatched—there truly is nothing I love more.
